Mammootty’s Doubles remake is a hit in Tamil

It was hard time for mega star Mammootty in Malayalam cinema as he is not tasted any hits in recent time after the success of the film ‘Pranchiettan and saint’ directed by Ranjith. With a surprise the remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Doubles’ . The movie released in tamil in the title of ‘'Puthuvai Maanagaram' is completing its fifty days in which Mammootty in the lead role along old Malayalam actress Nadia Moydu.

The Malayalam version of the movie did not do well  but the tamil film is doing well in which Tamil hot actress Thapassi and actor Y G Mahendra in the lead role. The movie is directed by Sohan Seenulal and written by Sachi Sethu. Mammootty is now busy with the movie “Kamath and Kamth’ along with Dileep and tamil super star Dhanush in a guest role. Other movie of Mammootty ‘Face to Face’ is getting ready for releasing soon.
